  I went in for a rash on BOTH of my arms . The doctor immediately seemed clueless. Literally he would say I don't know and I am not sure repeatedly. I asked multiple questions and he couldn't answer them. I had an old bruise and a pink mark on one spot of my arm, and he asked what that was. He was desperately trying to find something to explain the rash, and was closely examining my arms. I made the mistake of saying it was from my dog. She had bitten me accidentally during play time. He hyper fixated on that spot the rest of the appointment, telling me that it didn't look good and that I needed antibiotics. There was no redness, no warmth to the touch, not streaking, no signs of infection at all. And I told the doctor that it was at least 1 1/2 weeks ago since that occurred. Yet that was the final outcome of my visit. I left there with discharge instructions of how to watch for an infection. All of those signs were MISSING in my case, yet I had a prescription for antibiotics. Plus how would that have effected BOTH arms?? Makes no sense. ( I never filled the antibiotics, because I take issue with the over use of antibiotics, especially since I clearly did NOT have an infection and a week later my "wound" is just fine) My rash was not addressed, which was the reason I went. To make matters worse, the guy reported this to animal control. I know by law if there is a bite they have too... but this was a MINOR incident, that required NO treatment. It was NOT why I went to their clinic. And now i am dealing with animal control, and jumping through hoops to send rabies proof 3 weeks AFTER anything happened and I STILL HAVE THE RASH on both arms. Bottom-line for me, is that this guy has no clue what he is doing. I didn't get the issue that I went for addressed and all he did was cause me more problems. I am seeing a dermatologist this week to have my issue resolved since he couldn't help.
